As part of the County Library, Tallaght’s programme of events to support Senior Cycle exam students, there will be a presentation on the Leaving Cert. History Special Research Topic on Monday 31st January at 6:30 p.m.
Stephen Tonge will deliver an interactive session which will give you all the information you need to start your project. The session will cover:
How to select you topic.
What is a good topic to choose?
How your topic will be marked.
A presentation will be given by a member of our Local Studies Team outlining the wide variety of Local Studies resources available to you at the County Library, which will be of use to you in your special topic. This will be followed by a short tour of the Local Studies section in the library.
Stephen Tonge has been teaching history for 15 years at Catholic University School, Dublin. He is an author and has worked as a Senior Examiner at Junior Certificate level for 8 years.
The session is suitable for 5th & 6th year students.
