Luas to Saggart Heritage Exhibition & Walk of Historic Saggart Village

To celebrate the opening of Luas to Saggart, Luas and South Dublin County Council have joined forces to bring you a temporary exhibition of local history and heritage information on the Citywest area.

Why not stop and find out about the fascinating history of the local area next time you are at one of the new stops? Throughout August posters telling you about aspects of the local history and social heritage of each area will be up at the new Luas stops at Fettercairn, Cheeverstown, Citywest Campus, Fortunestown and Saggart as well as at the upgraded Belgard stop. Or see here to view or download the local history and heritage information for each stop.

Come and explore with us! Take part in a special guided heritage walk of Saggart Village on Saturday 20th August. The walk is free and when you book you’ll get a free Luas ticket to get you there and back. Booking is essential; to book contact Karl Whitney at email at or by phone at (01) 4597834. Walk starts at Saggart Luas Stop at 2pm Saturday 20th August.
